Jen Griger
has been Cathy's student for years and is now an assistant to Cathy.
Jen has been doing fabulously well bringing young horses along. She
is doing so under Cathy's watchful eye and guidance.
We are very proud of her
accomplishments and her own students have benefited greatly since
Jen knows The System and knows how to teach beginner and young
riders.
The System that Cathy developed is demonstrated in
this video. Cathy rode this horse for a little over a month and
already he has acclimated to The System and is showing great
progress. The sound is a bit distorted but she can be heard
explaining what she is feeling and doing while she is is riding and
training the horse.
The System training Part II. The sound is a bit
better on this video. Cathy is demonstrating some of the tools that
are more fully explained in The System DVD's "Understanding the
Neck" and "The System Tools and Symposium"
May 1, 2011: Kassie spent the winter with us in
Wellington, Florida, mostly Training and not competing. She has a
new horse. Aramo who is a coming six year old Dutch Warmblood
gelding.
Aramo was owned by Leslie Valente who is our adult amateur
rider. Kassie sold her own horse to finance her stay in
California where she will be a working student for Stephan Peters.
Leslie wanted Kassie to have a nice horse that she could be working
on while she is in California and so she gave Aramo to Kassie.
I am so proud of my students because they want to learn and they
become like family and they take care of each other. Besides
training riders and horses, my happiness is seeing everyone get
along and enjoy their horses. I have been truly blessed with
very special students.
Today Kassie and Arie left for the west coast and we will miss
her very much. I has been a great thrill for me to be a small part
of Kassie's journey and we all wish them both the very best success
possible.
